Alexander L Blinski M.D. is a board certified physician with a subspecialty fellowship in non-invasive aesthetic cosmetic medicine. He grew up in Miami Florida and has been practicing with his father and plastic surgeon (Darryl J. Blinski M.D.) since an early age. With a strong interest in medicine and cosmetics, Dr. Blinski attended University of Florida graduating with a B.S. in Biology. Subsequently Dr. Blinski attended St. Matthews University of Medicine at which time he concomitantly taught anatomy for 2 years during his studies. After finishing at the top of his class in medical school he went on to complete a one year surgical residency in Harrisburg Pennsylvania followed by 3 additional years of family medicine residency in Hoboken New Jersey at which time he graduated with the honor of Chief Resident. With a strong interest in cosmetic and aesthetic medicine and his years of previous experience, Dr. Blinski went on to complete a fellowship with the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine at which time he fine-tuned his skills as an advanced cosmetic physician and opened Symmetry Medicine, a Concierge Cosmetic medical practice, which specializes in tailored cosmetic plans and procedures delivered to your home or apartment, on your own time.  He is currently privileged at the prestigious Mt Sinai Hospital system of New York, holds the title of professor at Mt Sinai Medical School and Residency, and still practices traditional medicine in the field of urgent care. Dr Blinski is currently engaged in research with cosmetic amniotic stem cell therapy, platelet rich plasma, and microdermabrasion with micro-droplet Botox. He is the current founder of the “New York Microdermabrasion” which is tailored to his New York patients with fast paced lives that have little time for any recovery. This technique uses collagen induction therapy to stimulate new collagen growth in an organized fashion. Typical recover time is less than 24hrs, compared to other microdermabrasion procedures with average 5 days downtime and equal results.
